  1. At Fat Rat Forge, we strictly forbid the use of our 3D printing services to create firearms that would be classified as ghost guns, explosives, sharp objects, or any items that could pose a safety risk. We adhere to Australian Laws. We can not create replicas for guns.

    For Cosplay; replica weapons that would have a bladed edge will/should be blunt but are acceptable.

  2. For prints that contain personal data on someone else's behalf; required explicit informed consent from the data subject to uphold privacy and ethical practices.

  3. Our business will not commercialize or misuse 3D prints based on sensitive data, limiting their use to the customer's specified non-profit or educational purposes.

  4. Customer designs will be treated confidentially, we will not share, reproduce, or distribute them without permission to protect intellectual property.

  5. We commit to printing objects that are safe and functional, avoiding any potential for injury or negative impacts.

  6. All communications with customers must remain focused on service-related topics, such as design consultations and printing techniques, to foster trust and productivity.

  7. Provide clear, accurate information to customers regarding pricing, turnaround times, capabilities, material limitations, and potential risks.

  8. Use sustainable and recyclable materials where possible; dispose of waste responsibly and minimize unnecessary consumption.

1. Accepted Payment Methods:

We accept the following forms of payment:

- Bank Transfers

We do not accept checks or cryptocurrency at this time.

2. Pricing and Quotes

- Prices are based on material costs, print time, design complexity, and any additional services (e.g., post-processing or shipping).

- We provide a free quotes via email or our website. Quotes are valid for 30 days.

3. Payment Terms

- Small Orders (under $200): Full payment is required upfront before production begins.

- Larger Orders ($200+): A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to start the project. The remaining balance is due upon completion and before delivery.

- Custom or bulk orders may require a different structure, which will be detailed in the quote.

- Invoices will be sent via email and must be paid within 7 days of issuance.

4. Late Payments

- We reserve the right to pause or cancel services for accounts with outstanding payments older than 30 days.

5. Taxes and Fees

- All prices exclude applicable sales tax, which will be added based on your location.

- Shipping fees (if applicable) are calculated at checkout and paid upfront.

We may update this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services implies acceptance.

Consumer Guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL):

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced (or services re-performed) if the goods or services fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the ACL or any other applicable laws.

Cancellations (Change of Mind):

- If you cancel before production starts, any deposit paid will be refunded minus a 10% processing fee to cover administrative costs (provided this fee represents a genuine pre-estimate of our loss).

- Refunds are available for cancellations after production begins, a fee will be applied depending on the estimated time of the cancellation. (The cost is calculated based on the time, material and labour time used.)

However, this does not affect your statutory rights if there is a fault or failure under the ACL.

Refunds and Remedies for Problems:

- There is no automatic right to a refund or exchange simply because you change your mind, unless we agree otherwise.

- If goods or services do not meet consumer guarantees (e.g., due to faults in materials, workmanship, or not matching the agreed description), we will provide an appropriate remedy under the ACL:

- For minor failures, we may repair, replace, or re-perform the service at our cost.

- For major failures, you can choose a refund and/or replacement.

- If the problem results directly from designs, specifications, or information you provided (and we followed them accurately), consumer guarantees may not apply, and no remedy may be available.

- Refunds, where due, will be processed in the original payment method within a reasonable time (typically 5-7 business days). We may require proof of purchase and inspection of the item.

- For custom designs, once approved by you, no refunds are available for design-related change of mind, but this does not limit ACL rights for manufacturing faults.
